SHEEPEK F1 (SM 324/24)
Winter squash of the Hubbard type with very attractive small fruits weighing about 500 grams. The size and shape of the fruits, including the pronounced ridges, resemble Acorn squash. But the color of the skin and flesh of SHEEPEK is deep orange. The plant has a semi-vigorous growth and will surprise you with a very high fruit setting. Nice fruits have a very small seed part and the volume of usable flesh is surprisingly large for a relatively small fruit. PS: It is definitely not a squash only for singles as it might seem at first glance. Thanks to its very fine texture and sweet taste, it is excellent for preparing both sweet and savory meats and, of course, popular soups. SHEEPEK also stands out for its very long shelf life (more than 6 months), which only strengthens the use of fully ripe fruits for decorative purposes. The name SHEEPEK comes from Czech name for rosehip, which its shape and color remind us of.
